The Prevalence of Endodontic Instrument Separation among Dental Practitioners and Dental Students in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: A Cross-Sectional Study

Aims: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of instrument separation and its management in Riyadh City. Methods and Material: A survey was distributed in hard and soft copy forms. Target subjects were Undergraduate students, Dental interns, General practitioners, Postgraduates Endodontic, Advanced general dentistry (AGD), Saudi board advanced restorative dentistry (SBARD), and Endodontists. The questionnaire contained three domains: demographic data, incidence of instrument separation, management and follow up of instruments separation. Data were statistically analysed, and the significance level was set at p<0.05. Results: The study includes 455 subjects.
