    The Prevalence of Hearing Loss in Different Age Groups, Gender and Hearing Threshold: A Systemic Review

    Objectives: The current scoping review is an attempt to explore the prevalence of Hearing Loss (HL) in different age groups and prevalence based on gender was our major concern. Methodology: In the systemic review, an online search was conducted using Google Scholar, Science Direct, ProQuest, and PubMed. A two-phase mapping approach was used. In the first phase, studies were screened. In the second phase, the data were extracted from selected studies followed by the assessment of data quality. A total of 14 studies were included; 13 were cross-sectional and 1 was qualitative. We compare the studies in tabular form. Results: The most common and same character in all studies were the prevalence rate was higher in males than females and the hearing threshold was increasing by increasing age.
